If the Shooter rolls the Point, he or she must continue rolling the dice until either the number identified as the Point OR a 7 comes up. If the Point is rolled before 7, all Pass Line Bets win. When the opposite occurs, all Pass Line Bets lose.

If you don't want to throw the dice, you can bet on the thrower. Several types of bets can be made on the table action. A new game then begins with a new shooter.
